I know I'm late in posting this, but with my crazy illness, I post when I can! I hope all you mamas out there had a super lovely day! I got my wonderful mom a new serge machine for Mother's Day, so I tried to go for a sewing theme on her card.
The papers are from the Farm Girl paper pad. (Which I purchased from Jan at JLRscrapbooks.com She has quite the little shop! Great prices, SUPER quick shipping,
and you couldn't ask for better service!) This paper was just perfect for my card, because it looks like a double-wedding ring quilt!! I stamped around the "quilt" with a zig-zag stitch stamp to emphasize the sewing theme. (I wish I could have actually sewn on it, but oh well!) And I also added a vintage sewing machine brad in the center of my flowers. Fairly simple card, but I was so pleased with it!
Here's the inside:
Stamped sentiments are from Scrappy Moms Stamps, but I can't remember the set name off the top of my head!
I even (simply) decorated the envelope!
The washi tapes that I used are from Studio 112 (the $1.00 bins at JoAnns) They are mini rolls, and come two per package. But you get a decent amount for a buck in my opinion!
Well, thanks for stopping by! Have a good one!

Wow I missed so much by not checking in with your blog more often. I adore this card and I'll be your Mom loved it. The wedding ring quilt paper is so pretty and I love that you stamped the edge with a zig-zag stitch. That really added that little extra special something to give the card personality. I also like how you decorated the inside of the card. I never think to do that. You have inspired me once again to try something a little different. I'm definitely going to have to keep that in mind. Thanks for sharing this beautiful card.
